Stock Market Charts

Stock Market ChartsStock charts are compiled using data about the price and the value of certain stocks. These prices have been monitored for a period of time and then plotted into a chart.

There are a few different types of stock market charts, the bar chart, the candlestick chart and the line chart. Each of these is read slightly differently.

The line chart will be the easiest to understand and this is where price is plotted along one axis and on the other the closing prices are plotted. This will also allow you to show the highest price of each stock.

News

Another valuable source of stock market information is in the news. If you ever discover that anything is happening in the business world which could affect stock prices of certain industries or businesses then you should take a note.

Remember that the business world can be affected by anything and so you need to keep your ear close to the ground at all times.
